Our Signage
The SurfTheTurf Team takes every aspect of our practice seriously, including the signs that we put out when we hold an open house. Our open house sign was a well-considered design, and is effective at directing potential buyers to a house we are showing.

This is important for both sellers and buyers! Our sellers appreciate that we make the most out of each open house that we hold. Because we use an abundant number of signs, buyers that are shopping are able to easily identify the signs and follow them to the open home.

What makes our signs different
First, we contacted the California Association of Realtors and asked if there was any legal requirement that we put our brokerage on the open house sign. Answer: No. Because open house directionals do not offer a property for sale but are only directing consumers to the house, the brokerage name is not required.

Most other open house signs also serve the function as advertising signs for the brokerage. They allocate a huge amount of the sign space to the corporate branding. I discussed the matter with our team, and that was one of the reasons why we decided to make our brokerage name that of our company name. This allows us to use the extra space to create giant arrows with a lot of white space (or should I say yellow and red space). This would really help buyers spot and follow the signs.

We have little doubt that our arrows are probably the largest of any open house signs, and when you see one, you will immediately know which turn to make. You may even see one of our straight-ahead signs that we like to use on long roads just to assure potential buyers that they are going the right way.
Our for sale signs that we have in front of the home are also very eye catching yet classic colors (yellow/blue). Unlike other brokerages, our brokerage provides the for sale and open house signs to each agent. This means that every agent gets photographic signage with large phone numbers so that they are able to answer the calls on their listings.
